This policy explains what information the Christmas Live Wallpaper app for Android and the Christmas Wallpapers app for iPhone (each called "the app") handle. We built the app so it works without an account and keeps your photos on your device.

Information we do not collect

• We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any account.
• Your photos stay on your device. When you choose "Add snow to my photo", the app uses Android's photo picker to read only the picture you select. It is resized and stored privately inside the app on your phone to draw the live wallpaper. It is never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
• Your favorites and settings (snow amount, wind, lights, daily wallpaper, music, opened Advent doors) are stored only on your device.

Wallpaper downloads

The app may download a list of new wallpapers and the wallpaper images from our content server. These requests contain only what any web request contains (such as your IP address and device type) and are used only to deliver the images.

Advertising

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and information about your interaction with ads. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & ad choices.

Learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).

On iPhone, the app asks for your permission with Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before Google can use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you still see ads, but they are not personalized using that identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Permissions

Android

• Internet – to download wallpapers and show ads.
• Set wallpaper – to set the wallpaper you choose on your home or lock screen.
• Notifications (optional) – for the Advent morning reminder, only if you turn it on.

Saving a wallpaper to your gallery uses Android's standard media storage and needs no extra permission.

iPhone

• Add to Photos – to save the wallpapers you choose. This is add-only access: the app cannot see or read your photo library.
• Notifications (optional) – for the Advent morning reminder, scheduled on your device, only if you turn it on.
• Tracking (optional) – see Advertising above.

The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location or files.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention and deletion

Everything the app stores (settings, favorites, your live-wallpaper photo) is on your device and is deleted when you clear the app's data or uninstall it (on iPhone: when you delete the app). For data processed by Google AdMob, see Google's privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and publish the new version at this address.
